Feedback from Thailand
"It's been well over a week now since the arrival of my Reso masterpiece. What a joy that instrument is - and what a great sound it has. It seems unnecessary to repeat the wonderful feedback you've gotten many times before from thrilled customers, so I'll bypass those remarks and comment on a few others that come to mind:
Seems to me the entire selection process, ordering, shop tracking and packaging of your Ukes is very complete and well planned. I notice that my Reso Tenor fits very snugly in it's case; no towels or hold down straps are necessary to keep it from banging around. And how impressive is that to have the order date and instrument spec's and the warranty printed on card stock and put in an envelope that everything fits into exactly. Our family must have at least a dozen instruments of various kinds we've purchased over the years and none have this level of attention to detail beyond the instrument itself. One of you, or all of you, have really put together a complete package.
Of course my Mya-Moe would sound fantastic in the hands of a professional which I am not. But I'm not too bad a player overall. This instrument has soul. It has a particular tone that makes me sound better than I really am, I think. With a flat pick or finger picks this instrument has a definite swagger.
As I recall, I made my wood selections based on a Reso that Char has. Clearly Char has a great sense of what goes together to look good and sound good. The "body shop" is a wonderful resource for wood selection.
It's not easy to make a major purchase on the Internet without actually seeing, feeling, playing a similar instrument before buying but with your video explanations, excellent photos and other resources available there's little doubt that what we see is what we are gonna' get and then some.
Like I said, it's a complete package from initial curiosity to delivery of the product to the front door. Brilliant actually. Congratulations to you, Gordon and Aaron for an outstanding business model."
