We’ve been working with Paul for over 5 years, and in that time have watched him grow and evolve--from the soloist with the Langley Ukulele Ensemble; to a graduate of the renowned University of Victoria; to a recording artist; and now to the Director of the Langley Ukulele Ensemble. Can’t wait for his new album, which should come out in early 2014! here.

We are incredibly proud to have Lisa playing one of our instruments. She is an Irish singer, songwriter, and musician. For several years she was a member of Damien Rice's band before beginning her solo career in 2008. She has been the recipient of various award nominations and critical praise both in Ireland and the USA. Hannigan has performed and been associated with Cathy Davey, Mic Christopher, Mick Flannery, David Kitt and members of Snow Patrol, The Frames and Bell X1. here.

Slim is multi-instrumentalist and part of the Lady Antebellum band. He’s played a Mya-Moe for quite some time, and in 2012 introduced us to the other band members, two of whom also play our ukuleles. here.
- June Artist-of-the-Month: Gerald Ross

We often run into Gerald at one of the many ukulele festivals that we attend. He is an excellent teacher, and will often headline the evening concert. He is incredibly entertaining with his quick wit, but it is his playing style that really sets him apart. He coaxes a tone out of his Mya-Moe resonator that others long for. here.

In 1990, David began composing music for film and television. His first network TV series, the multi Emmy award winning hit, Northern Exposure, earned him a Grammy nomination for Best Instrumental Composition for its memorable theme song. He went on to score every episode of the show for its entire seven-season run.
Over the last two decades, David has scored numerous television themes and series, including "Arrested Development," "Deadwood" (Emmy Nominated for Main Title Theme), and "Wolf Lake" (also Emmy Nominated for Main Title Theme). His film scores include Gonzo: The Life & Work of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson, directed by Alex Gibney, The Two Of Us, directed by Michael Lindsay-Hogg, and You Stupid Man, directed by Brian Burns.

Made by Simon Fisk (Plunge Audio) in Canada. He is using some of the off cuts from our ukuleles as a decorative piece on the outside of the monitor. Oh, and he the owner of a new Mya-Moe Lap Steel.
