- Introducing ShopTracker
Jan 4, 2011
Now you can see what we're doing in the shop every day. Just go to ShopTracker. There's a picture of the last step we completed on each instrument, along with a description of the next step. The latest picture of the "ukulele nursery" is at the bottom of the page. Click on any instrument and you'll go to UkeTracker and get all the details on the building of that particular ukulele.
All of this was written in php and Dreamweaver. It is all driven dynamically from our instrument database.

Known as the "Father of the Ukulele in Canada", Chalmers pioneered the use of the ukulele in classrooms in Canada. He is an incredibly discerning & versitle musician, and we're proud to have him playing Mya-Moe Ukuleles. In fact, all 3 of his children whom are great musicians in their own rights, now play our ukuleles. Most recently he has co-authored Ukulele in the Classroom with James Hill who is also a Mya-Moe Artist. There’s more on J. Chalmers Doane here.
