I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate you making the best banjo ukulele I've ever seen or heard. By any standard, it is a special instrument--and would be even if Larry Robinson hadn't adorned the fretboard with his stunning special inlay. All the elements came together well to make instrument more than the sum of its parts. With the radiused fretboard, if it were any easier to play, it would have to play itself. And, of course, with its spot-on intonation, this Beansprout sounds great, bringing out the best combination of banjo and ukulele tones.

I can't even express how much I love my ukulele. I have played it everyday since I got it. And it's incredible to have such an instrument.

Thank you so very much for an exceptional instrument, letting you know it arrived safely. I really like the clarity and how the notes can hold on forever if need be. The volume unplugged is impressive . I would imagine as time moves on the cone will season as well as overall tone, which is starting out really great fresh out of the case.

I am easily overwhelmed when I look at this ukulele. Overwhelmed that you three have taken raw, imperfect wood from nature and with your hands and hearts created a museum worthy piece of art. Overwhelmed that even with the exact same wood, there will never be another 1698. The emotion present during the creation of my instrument lived only in that moment. According to the experts, the name Myrtle invokes a deep inner desire for travel and adventure, wanting to set their own pace in life without being governed by tradition. Although I cannot provide the skills across her strings that she deserves, I promise you Gordon, Char and Aaron, that I will provide her the travel and adventure that she desires and deserves. Love wins.

The ukulele arrived yesterday in perfect shape and on seeing it my first thought was, as the poet wrote, "A thing of beauty is a joy forever." You've heard the joke, "How many ukuleles does a person need? One more than he's got." Well. After this one, I want for nothing more. It is a joy to behold and to play. What a pleasure it must be for you to create such beautiful things. Many, many thanks.

Thanks for the great resonator uke. My fingers ache now. I play mostly fingerstyle, early jazz and ragtime with my guitarteacher but prefer to play countryblues. The last couple of days I´ve discovered how great it sounds to play slack-key on this uke. The sweet sound of the slack-key music and the powerful sound of the resonator go great together.

I cannot believe how beautiful this ukulele is in every aspect and detail. I have not tasted it, but sight, hearing, touch, and smell have all been richly rewarded. It plays so sweetly, commanding me to play better NOW. Everything is perfect - neck and fretboard feel so good! Only problem is I can't play backward to display that Myrtle back! You folks really nailed it - thank you! So so so happy, like six years old on Christmas morning,

I wanted to let you know that I received my new uke Monday afternoon, and am completely thrilled with it! It looks, plays, and sounds amazing! I've had many stringed instruments throughout my life (I'm 53), but this Mya-Moe is by far the finest instrument I've ever owned! Thank you so much!
