I think I told you I was so excited about the uke that I didn't get any sleep Monday night. Well, Tuesday I was so excited about getting it and playing it and enjoying just looking at it that I didn't sleep Tuesday either. Wednesday I had uke classes for several hours, and boy was I pooped. I took the uke to class and did a show and tell. Everyone was very impressed with its looks and sound. My teachers, who played it a little, were also impressed.

My new ukulele arrived safe and sound. I would have written sooner but I have only put the uke down for food and sleep...and not much of that. Wow! It is so amazing. My wife immediately remarked on the incredible sound of this ukulele. The craftsmanship is beyond my expectations. This is truly a fine instrument and it will take a place of pride next to my grand piano. Thanks to you and your artisans. I will always treasure the experience and the results.

Many thanks to you for building the nicest instrument that I have ever owned. (and I have owned many great ones in the past 35 years). Looking forward to a long relationship with my new Myrtle friend and to one day passing it to my daughter.

#980 has safely arrived. It looks beautiful AND it sounds beautiful. In the looks department, thank you for the beautiful maple on the fretboard. I am very happy with the wood choices in appearance and tone. I don't know how late I'm going to stay up tonight playing it and I've wondered if I wake up early whether playing it will wake other members of the household. I've felt like a kid all day waiting to get to open a birthday gift. AND I'm not disappointed now that I've opened it.

I am happy to report that my new soprano arrived yesterday in good order. The excitement of a new May Moe never grows old, even when it's #5! It sounds and plays great although I think I may take a Sharpie to the headstock (ed. Eddie Vedder reference!).

The neck on feels quite decadent - that probably sounds a bit weird, but the shape and satin smoothness makes it a pleasure just to hold it. I feel the same way about my 1973 Conn 8D French horn. Even the tail ends of the strings down at the bridge are all perfectly trained exactly at the same length and to the left. The radiused fretboard also is beautiful to look at as are the side markers for the frets. It's love. I got it bad.
