It is fun to have a unique instrument made to your own specifications and to have luthiers such as the Mayers to bring life to the unique wood selections. I love both my Little Koa-Moe #247 and my Master Blue Pond Tenor Moe #414. It took a while for it to open up but it sounds great and appears to be aging well. Nov 4, 2012   I still have your instrument in my hands every single day. That's a sweet sounding uke as I'm sure all of them are. I'm really partial to the low g string. It's so mellow when played softly and it really thumps when I get a little aggressive with it while doin’ hammer ons and pull offs. I love that little thing! No guitar I own makes me feel so good!
