Jun 19, 2013   The photographs, as good as they were, never fully captured the nuances of luster and grain (mine looks like Van Gogh's brush strokes on the back!). The completed work videos, as good as they were, didn't fully capture the resonant tone of the instruments. And the feel of them! They're so alive in the hands!   - Barb D. The finish is something between satin and gloss and has a soft, smooth feel that’s very comfortable. The size is perfect, the neck profile is perfect, the action is just right and of as you would expect it has an amazing sound. This is a really well designed instrument. I have found that the lighter the touch the more beautiful the sound. “Old Man Maple” doesn't like to be flogged to death. Also, the low g string adds a lot of punch without any effort.
