Nov 21, 2013   Just a note to let you know my ukelele arrived safe and sound a couple of days ago and I haven't been able to stop playing it since! REALLY BEAUTIFUL! I tuned it up and it just started vibrating - great throaty tone that seems to get better every hour I play it. I know this thing's gonna get a lot of use!   - David I. Oh, did I forget to mention it's just stunningly gorgeous? From that amazing headplate, to the unbelievable colors of the mango to Larry Robinson's wonderful inlay, to the beautiful figuring in the maple fingerboard, it's just one of the most beautiful instruments I've ever seen. Nov 10, 2013   My uke (named Purdy) is here! I know it will open up for a while but it sounds absolutely amazing. I popped by a non-uke-playing friend's house last night with it and was surprised to hear her picking it up and playing while I was in another room, I guess it's just irresistible to anyone.
